ELEMENTARY/MIDDLE
Saplings - This program is designed for older students ages 9-14 that are ready to increase their depth of knowledge by delving into literature studies that incorporate many subjects such as math, science, geography, and history.
Sessions will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays - 8:30 am - 11:00 am
FEES
The fees are based on a one-year (two-semester) commitment per student. Fees include:
Tuesday/Thursday Saplings sessions including all supplies
-30-minute curriculum consultation and homeschool planning session if needed
PAYMENT OPTIONS
There are three options to pay the yearly fees. The price varies based on the payment option you choose.
Option 1
Monthly - Nine monthly payments from September through May*.
*Programs are in session from September 19th-May 30th.
Total Fees: $4,500
Option 2
Semester - Pay $2,125 per semester (two-semester minimum)
First Semester due date: August 1, 2022
Second Semester due date: January 1, 2023
Total Fees: $4, 250 ($250 savings)
Option 3
Yearly (two semesters) - Pay $4,000 in full by August 1, 2022. ($500 savings)
2022-23 Sessions will begin September 12th going through May 25th with scheduled breaks throughout the year. Please see the calendar of events for specific information.

SECONDARY/MIDDLE
8 students max per session with priority given to students taking multiple sessions.
Algebra 2- This course is a more rigorous algebra course that builds on the concepts used in the previous Math-U-See Algebra 1 and Geometry courses. Besides reviewing and expansion of topics taught in Algebra 1, the course covers advanced factoring, imaginary and complex numbers, conjugate numbers, the binomial theorem, the quadratic formula, motion problems, and other kinds of application problems. Graphing includes extensive practice with conic sections and solving systems of equations visually and algebraically. Vectors are also introduced. Additional Math-U-See worksheets are used to introduce matrices and determinants, provide more challenging problems utilizing critical thinking skills, word problems, and practical applications, plus test prep practice and preparation for the math required in advanced science courses.

Basic Math- This Basic Math course will focus on creating a firm foundation in fundamental math skills such as multiplication, division, and fractions. Making math fun by using games, manipulatives and clear instruction will help your upper elementary and middle school students thrive. Math-U-See worksheets will also be used to help cement the concepts learned in our group sessions.

Physical Science with Lab - This science course teaches atomic structure, the periodic table, chemical bonds, reactions, motion, forces, energy, waves, sound, light, electricity, magnetism, Earth’s structure, weathering, and atmosphere. Discussion and experiments based on Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Physical Science. Outside reading will be required.
Sessions will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays— 11:30 pm - 12:30 pm
20th Century World History and Literature -This program will focus on thinking and communication skills. Instruction includes reading comprehension, analytical and critical thinking, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, writing, and listening. Each literature unit will include a variety of critical thinking activities, correlated to chapters in the novels, which include projects, drawing, writing assignments, and puzzles. A variety of writing assignments are required. Some require research or lengthier essays, while others require shorter written answers to questions that apply concepts in the story to the student’s life or require the student to think and make judgments about story events and characters. Composition skills will include creative writing and comparative and persuasive essays.

1st Semester week of Sept. 19th – week of Feb 1st (No sessions Thanksgiving week, Dec. 12 – Jan. 2)
2nd Semester week of Feb. 6th – May 23rd (No sessions April 1 – 5)
FEES
ONE COURSE ONLY (Science OR Math ) - $350 a semester or $650 dollars a year + cost of textbooks and/or science lab fee
TWO COURSE BUNDLE (Select two courses: Science, Math) - $325 a semester or $550 dollars a year PER PROGRAM+ cost of textbooks and lab fee
20th Century World History/Literature $1,625 PER SEMESTER + cost of Sonlight Core 300
Science Lab fee - $175 per child
Payments are due August 1, 2023, for yearly fees or first-semester sessions
Payment is due January 1, 2024, for second-semester sessions
